WorldatWork Total Rewards 2007 - Event Report Post Reply

At: 05/08/2007
Today brought to a close the WorldatWork Exposition in Orlando. Over 30 HRmarketer members were represented on the expo show floor. Our perception during and our impression post-show is that TotalRewards is a very well run event. WorldatWork knows how to take care of their exhibiting vendors. The Sunday evening vendor reception was a nice touch, offering food and a relaxed atmosphere to network while booth selection for next year's show in Philadelphia took place. Note: the interest for the 2008 show looks to be vigorous, so reserve now to have your pick of the remaining spots. We'll be there!

While our team was not able to attend the educational sessions, we heard lots of positive feedback on this part of the program as well. Several vendors capitalized on the Speaking Opportunities for this event which also helped them boost interest and traffic on the show floor.

That's my take - for those other HRmarketer members at the show, we'd love to hear your thoughts. How was this event for Compensation, Benefits, Work/Life, EAP, or Technology?

How did HR Technology Vendors Like the WorldatWork Event? Post Reply

I agree Jonathan. I've been attending and exhibiting at all sorts of HR events since 1996 and WorldatWork is consistently amongst the elite when it comes to running a successful event. Virtually all the HR attendees I spoke with really enjoyed the show and most were regular attendees. WorldatWork is a model membership association / conference organizer in the human capital space. Kudos to them.

WorldatWork is traditionally considered a compensation and benefits event but I did notice a number of "HR Technology" exhibitors. I'd like to know from these technology vendors how the WorldatWork event was this year.
